AOKP Jelly Bean 4.2.1 Builds are Available Now

AOKP is one of the most well known ROMs out there.  It started with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and really made a name for itself by integrating features unheard of before it.  Things like complete Navigation Bar control and customizability, NavBar widgets and many many more features that are exclusive to AOKP builds.  Unfortunately AOKP went downhill for a while after it was hacked last year, and since Android 4.2 came out there had been no new builds to speak of.  Thankfully today ends the long hiatus and hopefully the return of the great AOKP.  Right now only 4 devices are officially supported, but you can expect that list to grow rapidly now that the first build has been released.  If you have one of the following devices you can join the party right away:
  • maguro – Galaxy Nexus (GSM)
  • toro – Galaxy Nexus (Verizon)
  • grouper – Nexus 7 (WiFi)
  • mako – Nexus 4
