Traffline Traffic Road Alerts : A Beautiful Navigation App

Many android users have the benefit of having phones that have turn-by-turn navigation and
stellar maps right out of the box. Turn on your phone, and you instantly have a tool to get you anywhere in the world you need to go. There are plenty of alternatives for Android, and some of them are really good—but thanks to regular updates and tons of features, Traffline deserves the crown for the best Real –time Traffic information app available. It's free, functional, and feature-packed.

Where It Excels

It's a near-flawless Real-time Traffic information app with features such as
‘Find Quickest Route’ to help you find the quickest route to your destination considering Live traffic information.
‘News Feed’, which connects to the Twitter feed and app users.
‘Come & Get me’ where it lets you send your coordinates to any of your contacts via Whatsapp, FB, or Twitter.
The app also connects you to their blog - which is updated quite frequently & contains information about any upcoming events in a city and the changes in the traffic routes because of it.

While apps such as Google maps can take you to your destination, tools such as Traffline, can help you keep abreast of the traffic situation on your chosen route.
We really liked how, the app lets you track live traffic with color codes for traffic situation in your current route, along with estimated time of travel and you get 3D Map Viewing. Along the way, you will also get information about any untoward incidents holding up traffic. It also claims to suggest the best route to get to your destination. Sign in to your Google+, Facebook or Twitter account to get access to the News Feed and things like saved searches and more.
Traffline's dynamic ETA and live traffic data along your route are killer features for commuters who know all too well, that whether they get off at the next turn will mean the difference between being home in time for dinner or slogging through hours of traffic trying to get around an accident already on the shoulder of your route.

One tap brings up multiple routes if you want to switch among them, and this app will route you along the lowest-traffic, fastest route automatically if you let it.

Many of the small bugs with this app we used to have are also gone with this new update which brings a new UI and some Material Design assets. The developers are very responsive and constantly updating it and adding new features and closer integration with other useful Google services.

Another thing is it allows users to report construction, accidents, police activity, speed traps, and other annoyances well in advance of you actually driving into them, which is a huge benefit whether you're commuting or you're on a road trip. And we can't forget this beautiful Material Design UI and it has a bright yellow color which gives the app more attractive look and pleasing, this whole new UI is much more smooth and has some animations which is present in Android 5.0 Lollipop

Where It Falls Short
It's difficult to find things in this app. It's functional and it's free. If there's anything we would quibble about, it's that some of the menus or part of UI is little complex for the new users but those can be easily understood once you get the hang of it.

The Competition
Google Maps (Free) is everyone's choice when it comes to turn-by-turn navigation. It used to be buggy on older devices or low end device, but it's much smoother now because of some great major updates in the past, and its directions are solid.
So if you really want to try this app you can download it from the Play Store and it is totally Free!

We think this is a great app which is offering much more features than any other app right now at this price (free). So hit the button below!
