Nvidia Releases Android 5.1 Update for SHIELD Tablet

Today NVIDIA announced that it has started rolling out the Android 5.1 update for their SHIELD tablet.
The latest version of Lollipop brings improved system performance and stability, an improved display thanks to global tone mapping and an updated firmware for the SHIELD controller. It also brings “system wide” improvements to LTE, audio, camera and other components of the device.
The 200MB OTA update is available for both Wi-Fi and LTE variants of the tablet.
The rollout of the update was announced by Nvidia earlier today, so the OTA update could take up to two weeks to land your SHIELD tablet.
