Huawei's Nexus Will Come With Snapdragon 820, 5.7" QHD Display, Metal Body and More

At this point, numerous different sources all agree that Google's going to come up with two Nexus devices this year. That will be a "first" for Google. In particular, the devices in question are a refreshed Nexus 5 developed by LG once again and a larger, Huawei-made handset, which was recently confirmed by an anonymous Huawei employee

While both phones are equally interesting to stock Android and Google fans, it will be an understatement to claim that Huawei's rumored Nexus is not more compelling due to the fact that it has never collaborated with Google on such a device.

Well, things became a smidgen more interesting, as leakster-extraordinaire Evan Blass (a.k.a @evleaks) spilled the beans and hinted at some of the probable hardware specs of the Huawei Nexus and its features. According to him, there will be a 5.7-inch Quad HD display on board with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset ticking beneath it.

@evleaks also expects the phone to come with a metal body (another first for the Nexus product line), as well as a fingerprint scanner, which is quite logical since the next version of Android finally has native support for fingeprint reading. As far as availability is concerned, Evan Blass claims the handset will ship in Q4 2015, which is quite certain - after all, Google's used to launching its Nexus phones in late autumn.

The patient wait for the next Nexus phones continues. As far as the smaller one is concerned, we heard yesterday that it might be quite the performance monster, but given the rumored specs, the larger one should also have some aces up its sleeve.
