Google+ iOS App Updated with Reshare Feature

Google has been updating the official Android app regularly, iOS users are not getting their Google+ love as much. But the latest update to the Google Plus app for Apple iDevices brings in a few new features that Apple users will find useful for sharing information.
The latest Google+ release is version 1.0.3.2124, and the app is currently live in the Apple iTunes App store. While the update incorporates several bug fixes and performance improvements, perhaps the biggest feature is the option to re-share other Google+ users’ posts, which comes default in the Web-based app.
The re-share option is accessible by tapping an arrow-like icon near the comment box for the post. An option to re-share the post will then appear.
Google+ for iOS 1.0.3.2124 also comes with several performance improvements. For one, the notification refresh time has been improved. Circle-creation is also tweaked. This particular release also lets users delete huddles, a feature previously unavailable on the social networking site’s mobile app version for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

As with previous releases, this update requires iOS version 4.0 and above, though. So users with older iOS versions (3GS and lower) will need to upgrade to enjoy the full functionality of Google Plus. An alternative would be to stick with the HTML5-powered mobile Web version
Google launched its latest social networking service in June to much fanfare. During the early days, though, only Android users had a native app for the social network. A version for Apple iDevices was launched weeks later, and it seems Google is quickly working on adding the same desktop-bound features into the iOS version. Perhaps soon mobile editions will also include support for Google+ games and hangouts.
