Mobile web gets Google's +1 buttons

Google's intent on getting its +1 button everywhere, and an update brought the buttons over to the mobile web. The +1 button that allows users to share information they like on the web, made its appearance on Thursday on select Android and iOS browsers. Users can now tap into +1 directly from their phones and tablets. Punit Soni, lead product manager for Google Games and Mobile wrote in a blog post , "The button will automatically be visible to anyone on Android 2.1+ and iOS 4.0+ browsers. When you +1 something, it will be displayed publicly across the Web as an annotation on the content you +1’d.
Share using Google+ from the mobile web
As of late August, the +1 button has made its appearance on more than a million websites. The +1 button is directly integrated with Google's social network, Google+, and making improvements to the button and making it more ubiquitous is important to the success of Google's social network. +1 activity did peak in mid-July according to a report by Experian Hitwise, and it will be interesting to see if +1 slowly overtakes Facebook's "Like" and Twitter's "Tweet". Which service do you share with more? Will you use +1 via your mobile browser?
