Google Releases Updates for Maps, Goggles, and Google+ Android Apps


Google has released updates for three of its major Android apps today. While Maps update is just a bug fixing and stability thing, Google Goggles and Plus have got big ones.
According to Google, the update for Google+ app brings search, ability to +1 photos and comments along with high resolution image uploaded support. On the other hand, Goggles update brings the much awaited continuous mode, which means you don’t need to click photos to use Goggles any more.

  • Continuous Mode allows you to use Goggles without pressing the shutter button
  • Goggles can recognize text in a document and return a link to its online version. Try it on your favorite newspaper!
  • You can help Goggles recognize more objects. Tap on ‘Do you have a better suggestion’ in the Goggles results page.
  • Google Goggles will now show user submitted results in the search results page.
