Google Cuts Nexus 5X Price To $299 On Google Store
Not long after Google cut $30 off the prices of the Nexus 5X 16GB and Nexus 32GB, the company today slashed prices again. Thus, if you're visiting Google Store now, you can buy the Nexus 5X for $299 (16GB model), or $349 (32GB model). It's not clear if this is a permanent price cut, but we assume that it is.

As you may remember, the Nexus 5X was initially released in October 2015 for $379 (16GB) and $429 (32GB). Alongside the Nexus 6P, the 5X was the world's first smartphone to run Android Marshmallow out of the box.

While it's certainly not the most advanced, nor the best looking smartphone on the market, the Nexus 5X is worth checking out if you only have $300 to spend on a new handset. Besides stock Android Marshmallow (and the promise of quick software updates for 2 years), the Nexus 5X features a great 12.3 MP rear camera (possibly the best at this price point), a fast fingerprint scanner, and a good 5.2-inch 1080p display
