Google Releases October’s Android Security Update


New month, new set of security updates. Ahead of tomorrow’s big announcement, the developers at Google have released the October Security Bulletin for Android Nougat and Marshmallow. The update will bring your devices security date to 10-05-2016 and fixes over 31 different vulnerabilities that have been found in Android. 

 Android Nougat Builds:   
Pixel C – NRD91D 
Nexus 5X – NRD90W 
Nexus 6P – NBD90X 
Nexus 9 Wi-Fi – NRD91D 
Nexus Player – NRD91D 

Android Marshmallow Builds:  
Nexus 5 – M4B30X 
Nexus 6 – MOB31H 

The images are available starting today, and you can either download them yourself via the link below or wait for the OTA to arrive on your devices. If you want to get your supported device up to date, head to the Google Developers page to download the appropriate Factory Image.
