Google Extends Pixel 2 And Pixel 2 XL Warranty To Two Years

There is no denying in that Google's latest flagship phones Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL  are plagued with few issues. With how much Google has messed up in a short time, and the problems older Nexus devices experienced over time, could the phone we a bad long term purchase?

There are few issues with these device like display problems which Google already said they will rollout an update to tackle it and NFC clicking. But Google did a thing which is a big relief for the buyers, the company has extended the warranty for both Pixel 2 models to two years.

Yes, two years. But for those of you who purchased Preferred Care, it will not be extended. You can get a refund within 30 days of purchasing it if you choose, but it still has benefits despite the regular warranty being longer now. And I don't think there's any smartphone right now which got two year of warranty.

Google did it right, with this much of issues with the device, hopefully this will put people’s minds at ease about buying a Pixel 2. With future updates fixing some issues, it may very well become the phone we expected. Have you changed your mind about buying a new Pixel? Leave a comment!
