OnePlus Rolling Out Android 8.1 Oreo Update For OnePlus 5 And 5T


Today, OnePlus rolling out Android 8.1 Oreo for the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T as the Oxygen OS 5.1.0.




The update is 766 MB in size  with April security patch. There are also optimizations for the Gaming mode, including power efficiency settings and network prioritization. There are also some new features for the Launcher like added category tags in the search section and auto name folders, based on category.

The OnePlus 5T will get full-screen gesture support, while the OnePlus 5 with its standard ratio display will not receive it for now. The company announced on its forums that the package should be arriving to a small number of users and if everything is okay, it will seed to everyone very soon.
