After launching its latest Android One smartphone in Spain last month, Xiaomi is all set to launch Mi A3 in India on August 21. Amazon India has put the ‘Notify me’ listing page, which suggests that the Xiaomi Mi A3 will be made available exclusively through the e-commerce website. However, it is being expected that the Xiaomi Mi A3 will also be made available via smartphone maker’s official website mi.com.
Xiaomi Mi A3 is a successor of Mi A2. The key features of Xiaomi Mi A3 include triple-camera setup, in-display fingerprint sensor, and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset. Xiaomi Mi A3 is the company’s third smartphone to run stock Android One program. Xiaomi will officially launch the Mi A3 at an event will kick off at 12 pm on August 21.
Xiaomi Mi A3 features a 6.1-inch HD+ AMOLED display. It comes equipped with a stock Android 9 Pie operating system. Xiaomi Mi A3 is a downgrade from FHD+. However, the phone gets an AMOLED panel instead of LCD which allows for an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Xiaomi Mi A3 comes equipped with a waterdrop-style notched display design, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset and comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. On the imagining front, Xiaomi Mi A3 houses a triple-camera setup at the back, including a 48-megapixel primary f/1.78 sensor. It is paired with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel sensor for depth sensing.v
On the front, Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with a 32MP shooter for selfies. Also, there's a waterdrop notch where the camera sits. Xiaomi Mi A3 runs Google's Android One software and this means no third-party apps can be installed. Xiaomi Mi A3 packs a 4,030mAh battery with support for USB Type-C 18W fast charging.
