How To Install CyanogenMod 11 for your Device

If you want the taste of CM11 Nightlies running on your device you can do it with just simple process. The process is simple. Current CM11 nightlies are pretty stable, and they’re based on the most recent version of Android, 4.4.2 KitKat and Android 4.4.3. You can keep up with all of the CyanogenMod news on their official blog

Before you start the process , make sure that you’re device is rooted and running a custom recovery. I prefer TWRPCWM is another solid option. Make sure to back up your existing configuration. Step 6 walks you through this. Don’t skip this step, especially if you’re unsure about what you’re doing. Better safe than sorry. You’ll also need to enable USB debugging in the Developer Options menu, and make sure that your battery is charged at least half way before you start.

We are not responsible whatever happens to your Android device for anything that may go wrong. You probably won't screw anything up, but you can't come to us blaming if you do!

Let's get down to business :

1) Go to here  And select your specific device and download the custom ROM zip. Check the dates and make sure to download the most recent nightly.

2) Download the Android 4.4+ Gapps from here.
3) Connect the tablet to your computer. Move both zip files to the tablets internal storage. After the files are copied, disconnect your tablet from your computer. Don’t unzip any of the files.
4) Power off the tablet.
5) Boot your device into recovery mode. Make sure that you are using the most recent version of your preferred custom recovery so that it will be able to flash Android 4.4 ROMs.
6) To be safe, create a NANDROID backup. This is a good practice anytime you flash a new ROM
  • TWRP: tap Backup, swipe to confirm the process.
  • CWM: tap ‘backup and restore’, name your file, and save it.
7) Factory reset your tablet. This will wipe the devices System completely, so make sure that you have backed up any apps and app data that you want to save. Photos, video, and any data stored on the device should be fine, but you probably want to back that up to. Just in case.
  • TWRP: press Wipe, then swipe to confirm.
  • CWM: select ‘wipe data/ factory reset’, confirm.
8) Install the CM11 Nightly ROM.
  • TWRP you need to press on Install, browse the internal storage for the CM 11 Nightly zip, then swipe to confirm installation.
  •  CWM: tap ‘install zip from sdcard’, then ‘choose zip from sdcard’ and navigate to the CM 11 Nightly zip file. Confirm to install.
9) Flash the Gapps zip after the new ROM is installed.
  • TWRP: press Install, find Gapps zip, confirm the process
  • CWM: select ‘choose zip from sdcard’ once again, find the Gapps file and confirm the process.
