Google Drive just announced on Google+ that the home screens for Google Docs, Sheets and Slides on the web have been updated to use material design.
Now when you visit www.google.com/docs, www.google.com/sheets, or www.google.com/slides, you'll find an easy way to get back to your most relevant and recently edited documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Now at least we can hope that Google Drive has begun implementing Material Design into it’s apps, we’ll start seeing more Google products get materialized in the near future.
